Relatives of missing persons seeking review of dialogue’s mechanisms for resolving the fate of missing persons

The Government Commission on Missing Persons hosted the meeting between families of missing persons and the Chief of the Office of the European Union / EU Special Representative, Mr. Samuel Žbogar, held yesterday, May 21, 2013. The meeting was attended by representatives of EULEX, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Commission for Missing Persons and representatives of the United States Embassy and the Embassy of Switzerland.more

I am optimistic and hopeful that tomorrow we will achieve the agreement for the implementation and we will see concrete steps in changing the situation on the ground, of course, step by step, gradually, with the will of Kosovo's institutions and citizens in the north, in order that we may live a new life together. We will certainly encounter challenges and difficulties, but these difficulties and challenges are not just of the north, but are challenges in all of Kosovo, but I am optimistic that together we will overcome these together – stressed Prime Minister Thaçi after the meeting he had in Prishtina with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Guido Westerwelle.more

Technical talks on telecom and energy held in Brussels

The delegation of the Republic of Kosovo, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri, head of technical dialogue, stayed yesterday in Brussels where she attended the next meeting of the technical dialogue with Serbia on telecom and energy issues.more
