CONCLUSIONS FROM THE DRAFT REPORT OF THE WORKING COMMISSION TO MEASURE THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO

In support of data, arguments and findings of scientific and managerial results offered by the participating institutions in the process of measurement, as well as debate and verification of coverage with administrative documents and mapping by the team of specialists in close areas to the ground, precisely in segments and points of contention, the Commission of experts for the measurement of territory of the Republic of Kosovo announces that the territorial size of the Republic of Kosovo before 25 August 2015, respectively, from the years 1961 to 1981 is 10,887 km² and the years 1982 to 2007 is 10,908 km².However, based on international obligations that our state has taken, primarily in the Ahtisaari Plan (Annex VIII) on 2 February 2007, to the demarcation of the border between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) and the former - Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is a small change in the cadastral area of Debelde (minus), Restelica (minus) and Dimcës (plus), on the border with Macedonia. Therefore, TERRITORIAL SIZE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO TODAY IS 10. 905. 25 km².more
