Minister Tahiri held a farewell meeting with German Ambassador Angelika Viets

Dialogue Minister Edita Tahiri held a farewell meeting with Germany's Ambassador to Kosovo, Angelika Viets, who is already concluding her diplomatic mission in Kosovo.
 
Minister Tahiri highly praised the excellent relations between Kosovo and Germany and expressed gratitude to German Ambassador Viets for her great contribution to deepening relations and comprehensive co-operation between the two states. She said that the Kosovo Government highly appreciates Germany's continued support for strengthening Kosovo and advancing the Euro-Atlantic integration of our country. She also stressed that Germany's role has been very important in the process of neighbourhood dialogue in Brussels because it has pushed this process into important moments for the benefit of peace and stability in the region.

Ambassador Angelika Viets thanked Minister Tahiri for the invitation for a farewell lunch, saying that she was satisfied that she could help strengthen the relations between the two countries and that she is happy that Kosovo has signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU in this period, while hoping the new institutions to be established as soon as possible, saying that Kosovo needs a stable and European government. Ambassador Viets also praised Kosovo's engagement in the Brussels dialogue, saying this dialogue is important because it serves the peace, neighbourhood and Euro-Atlantic integrations that are the goals of the state of Kosovo.
