Prishtina, 12 October 2017

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, visited today the Ministry of Security Force, where he was received with honors from the Ceremonial Platoon of KSF.

Initially, the Prime Minister Haradinaj had a head-to-head meeting with Minister of Kosovo Security Force Rrustem Berisha. Later, the Prime Minister held a meeting with heads of the Ministry, KSF superiors, and NATO Advisory and Liaison Team members, where a presentation was delivered with the topic "KSF, yesterday, today and tomorrow”.

At a press conference, the Prime Minister Haradinaj said that KSF is known for success only.

"Here is the address where we can talk about success only. It is an address, where citizens of the country have big confidence on the KSF and the Ministry. This high degree of confidence should be coveted by other institutions of the country, "said the Prime Minister Haradinaj.

Referring to the successes of the KSF, the Prime Minister Haradinaj also emphasized the recruitment process of non-majority communities, particularly the great progress made by the KSF in recruiting Serb community members.

The Prime Minister attributed this success to the loyalty of the members and their dedication to serving for the good of the homeland and the citizens, but also the continued support from the allies.

"It is a loyalty of all the members to their mission, which is to serve the homeland and the citizens, and it is also a loyalty of the allies of Kosovo to the security related issues, the allies for whom I can say and confirm to you that they are with Kosovo, with the Kosovo Security Force, with the perspective of Kosovo more than ever in order to give the army of Kosovo the constitutional mandate, the army that is already in place, but that we ought to give it the constitutional mandate ", said the prime minister.

According to him, the determination to become part of NATO is legitimate and is dedicated to all citizens of Kosovo, in accordance with the interests of non-majority communities, as it brings more security.

Minister of Kosovo Security Force, Rrustem Berisha, thanked the Prime Minister Haradinaj for the support and for making state commitments, saying that they will jointly accomplish their assumed responsibilities.

"In closing the meeting, we received from the Prime Minister many obligations, many tasks, but I am more than convinced that together with all MKSF and KSF staff, we will accomplish all these," he said.
