Prime Minister Haradinaj: From 1 January next year there will be facilities for milk producers

In accordance with the promises given yesterday at the meeting with dairy producers, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has announced the actions that the Government of Kosovo will undertake to provide customs facilities to dairies in the Republic of Kosovo.

"We are committed to protecting the interests of all domestic producers and processors, and in view of this commitment from 1 January next year, producers and farmers will be exempted from customs and excise duties on equipment and machinery used in the sector of milk production, "said Prime Minister Haradinaj at a recent meeting with representatives of this sector, led by Besim Kuqi.

At the same time, all possibilities for donations will be looked at and government subsidies will be reviewed, from which the sector will benefit.

At today's meeting that the prime minister held with a delegation of milk producers were also Minister of Finance, Bedri Hamza and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Nenad Rikalo.
