The lack of scholarships for students and the small budget of "Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja were the topics discussed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, with a group of students from this university, headed by Kaltrina Arifaj,  Student Parliament Speaker at this university.

After thanking the Prime Minister for the reception, students from Peja expressed their concerns about not including scholarships and low operating budget, for which they said were significantly affecting students' motivation and hindering the engagement of professional staff.

Prime Minister Haradinaj said that the Government is obliged to create the best conditions for all students and lecturers in order to achieve concrete results in the field of education, promising to be committed to addressing their demands, as students of this university are the only ones who are excluded from the scholarship system and are also faced with a small operating budget.

"You have addressed your problems dozens of times to us and it is now time for the institutions to engage in solving the issue of scholarships that only you are facing, from all the students of the country," said Prime Minister Haradinaj.
