Prime Minister Haradinaj: France’s constructive role, indispensable in the process of visa liberalization

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, received in a meeting the Director of Continental Europe of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Florence Mangin.

At this meeting, Prime Minister Haradinaj informed Director Mangin of government priorities in economic development, strengthening of law and order, engagement of institutions for membership in international organizations, with special emphasis on membership in INTERPOL.

“Being part of international organizations, Kosovo becomes a partner in combating transnational crime and contributes to peace in the region and in the world,” said Prime Minister Haradinaj.

Prime Minister Haradinaj also informed Director Mangin on Kosovo’s achievements in the visa liberalization process and called Kosovo’s membership in the Francophone Organization as a success, pointing out that France’s support is of particular importance to our country.

“France has played a constructive role in all the processes of state-building in Kosovo, so our people are always grateful for the great help of this friend state. At this stage of the international consolidation of the country, France’s assistance is needed, especially in the integration processes of Kosovo, “said Prime Minister Haradinaj, seeking to deepen cooperation in all the fields of interest of both states, especially in the economy.

“Kosovo deserves visa liberalization and has fulfilled all its obligations. Therefore, the constructive role of France in this process is important. With the visa liberalization for Kosovo, European countries gain one more partner, gain one more consumer in their economy, “said Prime Minister Haradinaj.

For its part, Director of Continental Europe of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Florence Mangin, has congratulated Prime Minister Haradinaj on the good work he is doing and for overall reforms in the country, confirming France’s support in the future.

The French Ambassador to Kosovo, Didier Chabert, also attended the meeting.
