Acting Prime Minister Kurti received the KEK Interim Board at the meeting

The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Acting Minister of Economy, Employment, Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Investments, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, today held a joint meeting with the Interim Board of the Kosovo Energy Corporation J.S.C, chaired by the Chairperson of the Board, Ms. Rrezarta Pllana and Board Members, Mr. Arbnor Pula, Ms. Merita Kasapolli and Mr. Bezad Halilaj, and with Acting Chief Executive Officer of KEK J.S.C., Luigj Ymerin.

The Chairperson and Board Members informed the Prime Minister of the Board’s Strategic Objectives and Action Plan aimed at achieving the financial sustainability of KEK, including the prohibition of misuse and increasing transparency. The drafting of a development strategy of KEK in accordance with the plan of the Government of Kosovo for economic development was also discussed.

The development of public enterprises and building their capacities through professionalism and proper allocation of resources that they have remains a priority for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
