The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received today the deputies of the Parliamentary Group “6 Plus”, a partner in the government coalition.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti informed the MPs that the situation in the country after the appearance of Coronavirus in Kosovo is stable and the measures taken by the government are sufficient and are keeping the situation under control.
For their part, representatives of “6 Plus” demanded from the Prime Minister increased support from the Government for non-majority communities in this situation and assessed that there was no reason for panic and state of emergency in the country.
They also voiced a demand to abolish the tariff on goods imported from Serbia, which Prime Minister Kurti said would soon begin implementing his plan to phase out the measure, replacing it with reciprocity.
Both sides agreed that Kosovo in this situation needs political stability to overcome this situation as easily as possible.
