“The Cooperation Framework represents a collective approach of the UNKT, represented by various agencies, funds and programs, aimed at addressing development obstacles and challenges in cooperation with the institutions, including in the context of achieving the sustainable development objectives,” said Prime Minister Hoti.
In addition, Prime Minister Hoti stressed that the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2021-2025 is very important, as we are at a time when we need to work on our development priorities and address the economic recovery in the short term.
Prime Minister Hoti also said that in the long term we expect a greater involvement in the process of drafting the National Development Strategy 2030, the objectives of which will be related to the European integration agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the Green Agenda.
“I want to express my gratitude to the UNKT, led by Coordinator Richardson, for providing unstinting support to the people of Kosovo in coping with the situation resulting from the COVID 19 pandemic,” said Hoti.
Prime Minister Hoti further underlined that the situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic obliges us to act in synergy, in order to be as close as possible to the needs of citizens and businesses.
“We have already doubled the subsidies in agriculture and we also have active financial means in the amount of EUR 60 millions to help businesses, but without ignoring other categories in need and the communities,” said the Prime Minister Hoti.
