The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the education field and exchange of pupils and students, with German organization “Education Unlimited a.V”, headed by representative Kerstin Zielosko Labonte, the purpose of which is to deepen cooperation in the field of education.
Prime Minister Haradinaj expressed his satisfaction for the signing of this memorandum, calling this, as a proof of the commitment of the Kosovar Government, to support education in the country.
“It is a good fact that among us we have Mrs Labonte, which has voluntarily started this project years ago, and since 2014 until today have benefited over 120 students from different parts of Kosovo and from the last year another 15 students and 4 teachers. Thanks to this program, we have received German students, to see a Kosovo differently, a European Kosovo, said Prime Minister Haradinaj, calling this project a very good and valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.
Thanking Mrs. Labonte for her engagement, Prime Minister Haradinaj also thanked especially the representatives of the European Parliament, who, as he said, have given support to this program and at the same time enabled Kosovar children to visit the European Parliament.
“I thank all those families and volunteers from the Republic of Baden-Württemberg who have accommodated and helped Kosovo children during their stay in Germany and Kosovar families, who have accommodated and assisted German children during their stay in Kosovo, in the exchange programs that have been applied so far, “said Prime Minister Haradinaj.
Meanwhile, the representative of the organization “Education Unlimited e.V” Kerstin Zielosko Labonte, was delighted to sign this memorandum, calling it very important, to learn from each other.
“I am very happy that we have signed this memorandum and thank all the people who helped in this project and also the German Embassy and all those people who have been supporting this project for six years that many Kosovar students have been in our schools in Germany, “she said.
Prime Minister Haradinaj and Mrs. Labonte expressed readiness to further deepen this mode of cooperation.
