The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, in the framework of state activities for marking the 13th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Kosovo, attended the opening of the exhibition “Patriotic activity of the national hero Sali Çekaj”.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Hoti said that it is an honour and pleasure to attend this exhibition, emphasizing that, 20 years after the war, it is important to systematize all the necessary archival documentation, for future generations, of people who have sacrificed the most for the freedom we enjoy today.
“In this exhibition we are seeing works that are an extraordinary combination of a person who contributed to the war as a warrior and an intellectual who knew how to combine them brilliantly in the best interest for achieving a vision for the independent state of Kosovo”, Prime Minister Hoti said.
Present at the opening of the exhibition were also Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj, Minister of Defence, Anton Quni, and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Vlora Dumoshi.
