The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti attended the virtual summit of Western Balkan partnership, organized by the Atlantic Council, a centre of foreign policy seated in Washington.
Other leaders from the Western Balkans, namely Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia, also attended the summit.
This summit, which discussed regional cooperation in Western Balkans and economic projects of Western Balkans to be funded by the U.S.A and EU, was also attended by senior officials of the European Union and the United States of America.
Prime Minister Hoti in his speech emphasized the importance of regional cooperation to Western Balkans and the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo for further intensifying such cooperation, as an equal partner to other countries in the region. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of unique markets in the region, elimination of trade barriers, freedom of movement and other aspects of regional cooperation.
Also, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, emphasized that Kosovo has already submitted regional infrastructure projects to the EU, and their implementation would provide sustainable development for the region.
