The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, received the representatives of the European Investors Council in Kosovo, with whom he discussed the Government’s commitment to economic recovery, as well as the creation of a better environment for doing business.
“The situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic obliges us to act in synergy with all actors, in order to be as close as possible to the needs of citizens and businesses. We have already doubled the subsidies in agriculture, we also have active financial means in the amount of 60 million euros that will help businesses, but we have not left without including other categories in need and communities “, said Prime Minister Hoti.
Further, Prime Minister Hoti and the participants talked about the dialogue of Kosovo institutions with the private sector, the Law on Strategic Investments, as well as the Credit Guarantee Fund, all for the purpose of economic development and attracting investors.
While, the representatives of EIC, praising Prime Minister Hoti for the reception, pledged to remain serious partners in the processes of economic development, and guaranteed the deepening of further cooperation.
