The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, received today the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, who is paying a two-day visit to Kosovo.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Hoti thanked Prime Minister Rama for the continuous support that Albania has given to Kosovo.
Emphasizing that Kosovo and Albania have all the possibilities for further deepening their cooperation, Prime Minister Hoti said that the Government of Kosovo naturally considers Albania its closest and strategic partner in the process of achieving Euro-Atlantic integration goals.
Meanwhile, speaking about the new situation created in the country, Prime Minister Hoti reiterated that the Republic of Kosovo already has a proven institutional culture to overcome such challenges with dignity even though they are by no means easy.
In addition, Prime Minister Hoti reiterated that, despite the circumstances and difficulties that may arise during the process, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to developing its Euro-Atlantic integration agenda.
“We are determined to continue the dialogue process with Serbia in order to reach a permanent peace and stability agreement, which will result in mutual recognition between the two countries,” said Prime Minister Hoti.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, offered the full support of the Albanian government to the institutions and people of Kosovo.
“Albania has always stood by Kosovo and will continue this in the future,” said Prime Minister Rama, emphasizing that Albania will help Kosovo in all processes in the future as well.
At the end of this meeting, Prime Minister Rama invited Prime Minister Hoti for an official visit to Albania, which is expected to take place this Friday, 3 July 2020.
