“Kosovo has entered a cycle of extraordinary elections and commitments at this crucial time for the country have made it impossible for me to participate in the work of the V4 and WB6 Summit under the chairmanship of the Czech Republic, ”said the incumbent Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, in his letter sent to the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Mr. Andrej Babis, following the invitation to Prime Minister Haradinaj to participate in the proceedings of this Summit chaired by the Czech Republic.
On this occasion, the incumbent Prime Minister, Haradinaj, on behalf of the Government of Kosovo, congratulated the Czech Republic for taking over the Presidency of the Visegrad Group and assessed that Kosovo and the Czech Republic have excellent bilateral relations since the time of their decision to recognize Kosovo, after declaring independence in 2008.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to the people of Kosovo as well as my personal gratitude for the support that your government has given to Kosovo’s visa liberalization efforts and for supporting our application for membership in Interpol last year, ”the incumbent prime minister Haradinaj, said in his statement.
Incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj confirms that Kosovo shares the same view that restoring friendly relations between the Western Balkan countries with the European Union is an important step towards stability and prosperity in the region and we are very determined to move forward on this journey and at the same time congratulated him and all the Prime Ministers for a very fruitful summit tomorrow in Prague.
Incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj added that Kosovo will continue to be a serious contributor to peace and stability in the region and to dialogue with Serbia, which will end with mutual recognition, at the existing borders.
